Event
“Toque.” is a theatrical work that aims to engage, share, and communicate the behavioral effects of mental health issues in society between the audience and creators. How far can human consciousness interfere? The work explores the relationships and repercussions of behavior that is sometimes ignored, discredited, and regarded as inconvenient and trivial, while also highlighting increasingly frequent conditions such as anxiety, burnout, and depression, arising from an insensitive and unstable social structure. “Toque.” is inspired by the concept of existentialism, where freedom directly reflects in actions and conditions of being, as well as in the poetry and language of dark romanticism, a literary subgenre of romanticism, and German expressionism, a cinematic language adopted in the 1920s.
